Dy 4 Systems Teams with Green Hills Software to Support INTEGRITY RTOS
on Dy 4 PowerPC Single Board Computers

KANATA, Ontario (June 30, 2003) — Dy 4 Systems, a division of Force Computers, a Solectron company, and a leading manufacturer of COTS VME and CompactPCI products for military and aerospace applications, announced today a partnership with leading real-time operating system (RTOS) company, Green Hills Software, to offer the high-reliability INTEGRITY® RTOS on a range of Dy 4's rugged PowerPC single board computers (SBC), including support for the SVME/DMV-181.

"We have seen great interest from customers in using the INTEGRITY RTOS on our SVME/DMV-181 SBC for many applications requiring high-reliability", said Stewart Dewar, Dy 4's single board computer product marketing manager. "We have worked closely with Green Hills, resulting in a robust port of INTEGRITY with support for many of the advanced features of our most popular single board computer."

"Green Hills is pleased to collaborate with Dy 4, a company that is well known in the defense and aerospace community for providing leading edge rugged products and support," said Dan Mender, INTEGRITY's director of business development at Green Hills Software.

The SVME/DMV-181 is one of Dy 4's complete line of PowerPC single board computers. Based on a 500MHz Motorola MPC7410 PowerPC, the 181 offers up to 1Gbyte of SDRAM memory with ECC, 48Mbytes of 64 bit wide Flash EPROM, two PMC mezzanine I/O expansion sites, dual 10/100Mbit Ethernet ports, SCSI, six serial ports, discrete I/O and two USB ports.

INTEGRITY is a secure, fast, deterministic, royalty-free real-time operating system for embedded applications that demand reliability, real-time performance, testability, and RTCA DO-178B certifiability to the most stringent stage, level A. Utilizing a processor's memory management (MMU) facilities, INTEGRITY builds a wall between the kernel and user tasks that prevents errant or malicious code from corrupting other user tasks or the kernel. INTEGRITY delivers maximum responsiveness and measurable determinism by never disabling interrupts during any system call in addition to supporting guaranteed access to both CPU and memory resources for your systems' most critical tasks.

Green Hills INTEGRITY for the SVME/DMV-181 is available immediately from Green Hills.
