Industry Veteran Charlie Ashton Joins Green Hills Software


Ashton to Generate Business Opportunities for Engineering Services

Santa Barbara, CA. April 7, 2003 -- Green Hills Software, Inc., the technology leader in real-time operating systems and embedded software, announced that Charlie Ashton has joined Green Hills Software as director of Strategic Partnerships. In his new role, Mr. Ashton will spearhead the identification of new business opportunities for Green Hills Software's custom engineering products and services. These include optimized code generators, architecture support packages, application porting, performance tuning, middleware and innovative advanced technology.
 
Prior to joining Green Hills, Ashton was director of Business Development for Intrinsity, Inc., a high-performance embedded microprocessor supplier in Austin, Texas. In this role he established and drove Intrinsity's relationships with wireless infrastructure equipment suppliers worldwide. Before joining Intrinsity, he held various management positions with responsibility for systems and software development at Cirrus Logic, Inc., Motorola, Inc. and Dell Computer Corporation.

Green Hills also provides application porting services through which developers can switch to Green Hills Software's royalty-free RTOS, INTEGRITY, allowing companies to eliminate royalties from their manufacturing costs.
