January 29, 2002 -- Green Hills Software today announced that it will offer bundled solutions combining its INTEGRITY® real-time operating system and the ThreadX® RTOS with Allegro Software's full line of embedded Internet products. These RTOSes, together with Allegro's embedded Internet products, provide the ideal platform for adding out-of-the-box embedded web connectivity and management to Internet-enabled embedded systems.

Allegro offers a full line of software for adding Internet connectivity to embedded systems. Allegro's HTTP-compliant, portable embedded Web server (RomPager) makes it easy to add Web-based management applications, enabling customers to configure, manage, and control the application using a standard Web browser. Complementing RomPager is RomMailer, an embedded SMTP-based mail agent that enables Internet appliances to provide active notification of events to any standard email client, and RomPOP, a POP3- based mail agent that enables Internet appliances to receive messages, including attachments, from any Internet mail server.
