GL Studio is an object-oriented rapid application development (RAD) tool that is used to develop reusable, real-time 2D and 3D human machine interfaces for safety critical, automotive, and manufacturing applications. GL Studio automatically generates C++ code that can easily be inserted into safety critical applications. The same C++ code can also be reused in other applications including Computer Based Training, Maintenance & Part Task trainers, and Full Mission Simulators.

Product Description

Originally designed in 1998 to produce 2D displays for aircraft simulation, GL Studio has evolved from a simple C++ code generator to a powerful and robust object oriented development tool, capable of producing high quality object oriented code for use in a widerange of applications. GL Studio is now used by over 300 organizations worldwide.

The GL Studio DO-178B Runtime Library and Qualifiable Code Generator allow users to rapidly develop and deploy safety critical avionics displays. GL Studio is a leading commercial off the shelf (COTS) software toolkit for developing real-time human machine interfaces for use in a variety of applications including virtual prototyping and development of safety critical cockpit instrumentation.

The full GL Studio DO-178B package includes source code and documentation including the Plan for Software Aspects of Certification (PSAC), Software Accomplishment summary (SAS), Requirements Traceability Matrices, Structural Code Coverage Analysis, as well as test procedures/reports and quality assurance records. The DO-178B Qualifiable Code Generator and Runtime Library allow GL Studio users to expand their reuse and cost savings into the safety critical avionics market.
