Demonstrations in Green Hills booth #1035

Safe & Secure ECU Consolidation
These demonstrations showcase the trusted consolidation of multiple Integrated Cockpit functions, including in-vehicle infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. The safety-certified INTEGRITY® RTOS provides a trusted foundation for system designers to build a single scalable platform hosting guest operating systems while concurrently running one or more safety-critical applications.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 for Automotive processor running a Qt digital instrument cluster as a native INTEGRITY application and virtual machine hosting Automotive Grade Linux running on top of INTEGRITY
  • NXP i.MX 8-QuadMax applications processor running a Crank digital instrument cluster as a native INTEGRITY application and Crank infotainment applications running on virtualized Linux

Medical Instrument Graphics Demo
This demonstration features an embedded UI development package from Crank Software deployed on the safety- and security-certified INTEGRITY RTOS and running on an NXP i.MX 8-QuadMax processor. This integration creates an ideal platform for quickly producing high-performance, rich 3D graphics for a variety of next-generation medical devices, including patient health monitors, infusion pumps, or robotic surgery systems.

Securing the Internet of Things
In collaboration with partners Qt and Clarinox, this demonstration showcases Bluetooth real-time sensor integration from Clarinox running on a Texas Instruments SensorTag device through a Qt-based human machine interface (HMI). The separation architecture of the Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS assures freedom-from-interference.
