Rapita systems Joins Green Hills Software's Partnership Program

SANTA BARBARA, CA — July 10, 2012 — Green Hills Software, the largest independent vendor of embedded software solutions, and Rapita Systems, a developer of software tools for on-target verification, optimization and code coverage of critical real-time embedded systems, announced today that Rapita Systems has joined the Green Hills Software Third Party Partner program. The move will be followed later this year by the launch of a series of guides (called integration guide annexes) to help customers integrate Rapita's tools with their systems.

The partnership gives Green Hills Software customers the opportunity to measure worst-case execution times and code coverage. "Customers told us they wanted to combine the benefits of Green Hills tools with our Rapita Verification Suite," said Andrew Coombes, marketing and engineering services manager at Rapita Systems. "Cementing this partnership seemed the logical way to meet their needs."

Designed to improve the user experience when tools provided by both companies are used on the same project, the partnership opens the way for greater collaboration between Rapita Systems and Green Hills Software. The integration guide annexes to be released in 2012 will further streamline the existing integration process for Green Hills compilers and Rapita Verification Suite (RVS) tools, offering Green Hills customers more choice and improved performance.
