This access offers time and cost savings for OEMs who want application portability and code re-use options. The Aphelion JREs give developers access to IBM’s advanced WebSphere Everywhere Micro Environment (WEME) technology with its high performance and robust J9 Java Virtual Machine and a set of Java API class libraries. Each JRE is fully compatible with Sun’s CDC J2ME Platform and optionally available in a configuration compatible with the Real-Time Specification for Java (RTSJ).
