Mercury Marine Inc. is using Green Hills Software's MULTI® Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to configure and control the Optimax. The Freescale MPC555-based Optimax is a low emissions, direct injection outboard speedboat engine. At the "24-Hours-of-Rouen" endurance race in France, the Optimax-powered speedboats placed 1st, 2nd, and 4th.
