Digital Harmony Technologies
is using Green Hills Software's MULTI 2000® Integrated Development
Environment to develop the middleware and drivers for a complete
IEEE-1394 audio/video node controller solution based on the ARM7
Thumb® processor and ThreadX® Real-Time Operating System. The
resulting product, the Digital Harmony DHIVA® (Digital Harmony
Interface for Video and Audio), is designed for manufacturers
interested in adding a standards-compliant interface to their devices
quickly and inexpensively. Digital Harmony's DHIVA is the only
turnkey 1394-based interface module available to consumer electronics
manufacturers for products coming to market in the year 2000.
"Our engineering staff purchased Green Hills' software tools for their rich feature set, reasonable price and responsive
technical support. We were particularly impressed with the development environment's thorough support for our chosen
real-time operating system - ThreadX."
