If you violate any term of the GPL to even the slightest extent, your license to distribute the RTOS terminates automatically, without any cure period and without any notice. Commercial sales of a product after an inadvertent breach of the GPL soon become a federal copyright infringement felony. The GPL was designed by Richard Stallman to prevent you from making a profit from distributing his software (which makes up a large part of Linux).
