Tandberg Data is using Green Hills Software's MULTI® integrated development environment (IDE) and ThreadX® real-time operating system to develop control software for its SLR160 tape streamer device. Using an IBM Power Architecture 405 processor, the SLR160 is a high performance device capable of backing-up 160GB of data at a sustained transfer rate of 24MB/s compressed.
