NDDS publish-subscribe middleware and tools help you build real-time
distributed systems
RTI knows that building distributed real-time systems is a real challenge.
Network programming is expensive, risky and time-consuming. To overcome
this, developers have turned to middleware, either developed in house
or purchased off-the-shelf. Many are using our NDDS middleware, especially
now that there is a standard for real-time publish-subscribe.
OMG Data Distribution Service for Real-Time Systems
The Object Management Group (OMG) is an international organization responsible
for, among other things, the Common Object Request Broker Architecture
(CORBA) standard. The OMG has recently adopted the Data Distribution
Service Standard; it establishes a standard interface for publish-subscribe
communications for real-time systems. RTI was the lead author for the
specification. The specification became an adopted standard in June
2003.
