Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) - Supports the signalling protocol to establish, maintain and release switched connections and reliably send and receive signalling data across an ATM network.
Signal System 7 (SS7) - Provides the convergence functions necessary to map the MTP level 3 SS7 protocol to the ATM protocol.
IP Telephony - Provides the interface functions to map to a TCP/UDP socket interface, and real-time transport protocol (RTP) for carrying real-time audio/video data.
Frame Relay - Provides core Frame Relay functions and/or control protocol for reliable transmission of frames (LAPF). Provides traffic and congestion management, DLCI switching, multicast and RFC 1490. Supports user and network side procedures. Supports ANSI, ITU-T and Frame Relay Forum specifications, including FRF.12.
Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN) - Supports the signalling protocol to establish, maintain and release circuit switched connections across an ISDN network. May act as user and/or network side. Supports Basic Rate Interface and/or Primary Rate Interface. Supports ITU-T, AT&T 4ESS, AT&T 5ESS, Northern Telecom DMS-100, DMS-250, National ISDN-1, National ISDN-2, ETSI, VN2, VN3, 1TR6, NTT, Australian Telecom, TR-303, GR-303, Q.SIG and other variants.
