Many portions of the graphical display are active; for example, clicking on the name of a class opens a display window on that class and breaks out its members. Clicking on a C++ class generates a separate window on that class. The Graphical Browser displays all the members pertaining to that class. In addition, program control flow can be examined by browsing the static or dynamic call graph. The Graphical Browser allows the user to see program structure as a whole, as well as focus on an individual object or function. The Graphical Calls/Class Browser The MULTI Graphical Calls/Class Browser is a powerful tool to help the user visualize class hierarchies and function call trees and provides source code browsing capabilities integrated with the MULTI Text Editor and Source-level Debugger. The Calls/Class Browser shows the structure of class hierarchies, static call graphs, and run-time call graphs in a hierarchical view, color-coded to indicate the type of function or class being displayed. The Browse Window The Browse Window enables the user to explore procedures, globals, and source files, each with a variety of options to control the manner in which data is presented. Filters are available to reduce the scope of the view, and new filters can be defined by the user to create customized views.
