Product or Product Family Name Seawind/178B family of DO-178B certifiable OpenGL® subset API products SeaWind; X Window System and OpenGL® for traditional embedded graphics programs Product Type X Window and Open GL products for embedded graphics applications Product Description Providing leading embedded graphics applications for Green Hills Software's INTEGRITY® RTOS, Seaweed Systems specializes in X Window System and OpenGL® products and services for embedded graphics applications. Seaweed's COTS software products are geared for the real-time/embedded marketplace and offer aggressive performance, feature set, support, and implementation schedules. Serving the ever-increasing number of embedded graphics programs that require safety-critical certification, Seaweed Systems provides its Seawind/178B family of DO-178B certifiable OpenGL® subset API products to INTEGRITY licensees. The Seawind/178B family compliments Seaweed Systems' market-leading SeaWind line which is based upon X Window System and OpenGL® for traditional embedded graphics programs which do not require safety-critical certification. Seaweed Systems, in conjunction with Green Hills Software, offers consulting services alongside their COTS products for custom and specialized needs. DO-178B Support for the OpenGL® API Seaweed Systems offers, for safety critical systems developed according to RTCA/DO-178B standards, from-scratch implementations of various subsets of the OpenGL® API. Seaweed's offerings shall be certifiable up through Criticality Level A. Subsets of OpenGL® appropriate for both 2D and 3D graphics are offered. All subsets, at a minimum, will support code emitted by Virtual Prototypes' QCG tool. Seaweed's offerings provide full support for the INTEGRITY RTOS from Green Hills Software. Seaweed Systems' graphics product is offered as a product; that is, it's not sold and then forgotten. We have full lifecycle support for our products. This support includes continued bug reporting (including safety assessment reports for each bug) and bug fixes. As the software product is distributed to many customers, each customer acquires the leverage inherent in other customers' use. Within each CPU/graphics-architecture/chosen-API-subset choice, three products are available: CertCode, CertKit, and CertAssist. These varied products are available to best suit the diverse needs of individual customers. The CertCode product provides just the software and header files; no Do-178B documentation or artifacts are supplied. This product is useful for customers who require software developed according to the rigorous standards of DO-178B and who and do not require the documentation set. The CertKit product contains all the software and header files of the CertCode product plus all required data appropriate to certification at a particular Criticality Level. The supplied data has been completed as extensively as possible by Seaweed. Only data which can be generically completed is supplied - data which is particular to a given certification submission is not completed by Seaweed. That means that some documents supplied by Seaweed will require no modification, some will require some modification, and some documents will be supplied in template form only. With CertKit, the customer is responsible for execution of the supplied verification tests and for completion of the documentation. The CertAssist product offers a turnkey solution for certification. Using the CertKit product, Seaweed will carry out the verification program on appropriate hardware and complete all necessary documentation for certification submission.
