Product Description Embedded OpenGL Display Drivers - Embedded OpenGL Display Drivers - ALT Software provides high performance OpenGL drivers for embedded computing platforms that employ hardware accelerated graphics. These 2D/3D OpenGL drivers are currently used in military aircraft, automotive telematics systems, industrial controls, and medical devices. They are suitable for use in any embedded computing environment that employs hardware accelerated graphics to drive 3D graphics and to enhance the quality of 2D graphics output. Our royalty-free drivers support the INTEGRITY RTOS on a variety of bus, CPU, and graphics processor configurations. ALT Software also offers system integration services, comprehensive technical support, and custom configuration support to assist clients with integrating the driver and adding functionality when required. X-Server Implementations - ALT Software's general purpose graphics drivers for embedded computing devices contain Mini-X, a compact windowing API that supports the customer's choice of RTOS. This implementation enables a user to run an application with multiple Windows or to run a single Window in full screen mode. Mini-X is particularly suitable for deployment in limited memory systems for which a full X-Server implementation is impractical. ALT also provides custom implementations of an X-Server to accommodate specific customer requirements. DO-178B Safety-Critical Display Drivers - ALT Software provides DO-178B certifiable 2D/3D OpenGL display drivers running on embedded computing platforms that employ hardware accelerated graphics and the INTEGRITY-178B RTOS. ALT’s drivers are certifiable up to Level A (safety-critical), the highest level of this FAA and JAA recognized software quality standard. Deployed primarily in commercial aircraft, these drivers are designed for use in any embedded computing system where the strictest levels of reliability are mandated by a regulatory agency, including FDA Class III “life-critical” devices. The driver’s modular architecture allows ALT to customize it for particular customer requirements, and generate additional certification artifacts on a component-by-component basis, which significantly reduces the time and costs of customization.
