ATLANTA, April 18, 1995 - At the Embedded Systems Conference
today, Green Hills Software, Inc., announced that it has been selected
by Motorola's Computer Group (MCG), Tempe, Ariz., to provide the Green
Hills AdaMULTI Software Development Environment for Motorola's PowerPC
and 68K based target boards. Extending its existing OEM agreement with
Green Hills, MCG will resell the Green Hills Ada compiler in addition
to the Green Hills C, C++ and FORTRAN compilers currently being
resold. The C, C++ and FORTRAN compilers are fully integrated within
the AdaMULTI development environment under VMEexec Release 4. AdaMULTI
will be available from MCG this summer.
AdaMULTI is a fully integrated window-based software development
environment for application developers that combines Green Hills
Software's industry-leading MULTI® development environment with Green
Hills' fully validated, optimizing Ada compiler. Green Hills Ada is a
fully validated (AJPO) ANSI MIL-STD-1815A compiler that performs over
100 code optimizations to produce the fastest and tightest code for
68K and PowerPC based real-time embedded processors. Sharing
optimization and code generation technology with Green Hills' renowned
C, C++ and FORTRAN compilers, Green Hills Ada integrates seamlessly in
