Software, Inc., today announced the introduction of Green Hills
optimizing C, C++, Fortran, Pascal and Ada compilers and of the
MULTI® development environment for the Motorola PowerPC821
PowerQUICC(TM) microprocessor.
With optimizations geared specifically for the 821 processor, Green
Hills compilers generate the fastest 821 code available. The tools are
fully comply with the Embedded Application Binary Interface (EABI)
adopted for the PowerPC. They are currently hosted on
SPARCstation/SunOS, SPARCstation/Solaris, Motorola PowerStack/AIX,
HP9000/HP-US, Alpha AXP/OSF1, IBM RS/6000/AIX and PC/Windows 3.1
platforms.
