The road show includes eight stops, including four locations across the US, two in France, one in Germany and one in the United Kingdom, with dates scheduled between October 13-31, 2003.  The road show aims to address the multiple challenges surrounding the certification of mission-critical systems to the DO-178B standard, and to introduce solutions available to this market today that address those challenges. The DO-178B standard (EUROCAE ED-12B in Europe), developed by the Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA), defines the software development lifecycle to be used in the development of airborne systems, and the evidence required to demonstrate compliance.
