Account Manager (Europe)
We are seeking 2 new account managers. These are entry sales positions.
Technical background. DRIVEN. Travel.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold an education level at BS/EE or equivalent
- Must be technically proficient, having a software/hardware sales background of 2-4 years of experience OR equivalent
Sales Engineering (FAE) experience
- Must have an excellent communications skills, high motivation to learn leading edge technologies and fluent command in English
- Must be a quick thinker, aggressive, and willing to think out of the box to accomplish goals
- Approximately 75% travel will be required

Field Applications Engineer (Southern Germany)
We are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join our full-time, permanent Safety-Critical products team providing
technical guidance/assistance to our EADS customer base in Germany.
Job Description
The role of a Green Hills’ Field Applications Engineer will be to help our German EADS customers successfully utilize the Green Hills’ products to achieve their program goals in a timely manner. Based in Germany, and reporting to our USA office, the duties will consist of:
- Answering customer questions
- Providing on-site support and customer training for Green Hills’ products
- Troubleshooting customer problems
- Utilizing detailed knowledge of Green Hills’ compiler, debugger, operating system, and target connectivity technology to
develop and distribute implemented solutions for the customer
This support role involves both remote debugging from a local office, and the opportunity to travel to key customer sites in Germany.
Required Skills
- Experience developing professional-grade embedded software with C, C++, or Ada
- Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Fluent in both English and German
- Ability to learn quickly and to understand code written by others
- Ability to quickly identify and acquire information necessary for solving problems
- Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent issues and follow through to closure
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel several weeks out of the year
Preferred Skills
- Embedded real-time operating systems experience
- Experience developing software in a DO-178B environment
- Experience developing software with ARINC 653
- Device driver development/troubleshooting
- TCP/IP protocols and stack
- Low-level experience on 68k/Coldfire, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC
Educational Requirement
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
