Green Hills Software’s embedded software technology thought-leaders
will present technical sessions, demonstrate optimized solutions,
and exchange ideas in stimulating panel discussions to help
embedded designers build and deploy software with maximum performance,
absolute security, in the fastest time-to-market.
Green Hills will also present and demonstrate its leading support
for today's Freescale processors, plus discuss roadmaps for
newly announced Freescale product families. Green Hills is
adding to its already deep and broad support for i.MX applications
processors, QorIQ™ communications platforms, PowerQUICC® processors,
MPC55xx, Kinetis, and ColdFire® processors for networking,
automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.

Systems Software Architectures for the QorIQ P4 Processor
Serge Plagnol, Field Applications Engineer
Thursday, Aug.19, 1:30 p.m.
Nidhi room – FTF-NET-F0900
The QorIQ P4 is ideally suited to
the consolidation of general purpose and real-time computing
elements to save on size, weight, power, and cost. Designers,
however, are faced with the formidable challenge of provisioning
and managing these disparate workloads across the P4’s
handsome complement of processing cores. This session will
explain the major systems software design choices for partitioning
workloads amongst cores and provide guidance for mapping
technical and business requirements to these architectures.
Modern Methods for Debugging
Serge Plagnol, Field Applications Engineer
Wednesday, Aug 18, 2:30 p.m.
Nidhi room – FTF-ENT-F0933
A live demonstration of how to dramatically boost efficiency
when debugging embedded applications. The presentation
will cover advanced breakpoint techniques, when to use
event analyzers, profiling, and advanced trace-based tools.
It will also show how, by using these techniques and applying “the
right tool for the job,” you can maximize efficiency
and productivity.
