Grammer is using Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY IEC 61508 RTOS, MULTI IDE, SuperTrace Probe and TimeMachine tool suite in their Freescale MPC5674-based UNIVERSAL controller. This new range of high-end controllers (designed for harsh environments like those typical of agriculture, construction, and logistics) lets customers focus on creating a vehicle electronics system architecture with functional safety. Grammer chose Green Hills Software for its safety-certified RTOS and clear roadmap to achieving ISO-25119 certification, "Functional Safety for Tractors and Machinery for Agriculture and Forestry."
