Xilinx has integrated up to two 400MHz IBM 405 PowerPC processors in
a feature rich Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) fabric. A broad
range of off-the-shelf peripherals are available from Xilinx. Users
can also easily create custom peripherals using the Xilinx EDK design
flow and Green Hills products.
Product Description
Xilinx delivers a complete hardware and software solution for the design
and implementation of PowerPC based Platform FPGAs. This includes the
Xilinx Embedded Development Kit (EDK), hardware development platforms
and the industry’s highest performance FPGAs with embedded PowerPC
processors. The EDK gives both software and hardware development engineers
an integrated environment, which when combined with Green Hills products,
gives the PowerPC user an industry leading solution.
